Synopsis

Amery Bryan practically runs CellTheraGene as Dr. Novak’s administrative assistant. She’s a total badass, a goth poet with RBF who doesn’t take shit from anyone, especially not from Zack Andrews, the arrogant and entitled scientist who made her shit list for making fun of her poetry.

She’s ready to hold her grudge forever, but when Zack unexpectedly saves her in a lab accident, she can’t help but feel she owes him a favor.

Zack, who’s been questioning his life decisions and reflecting on his past behavior, has come to a realization: literally everyone hates him. He might be good-looking, brilliant, and athletic, but none of that is helping him move from first dates to second ones. To fix that, he’s come up with a genius plan: find a fake girlfriend to teach him exactly what he’s been doing wrong. And Amery, who’s never been shy about hurting his feelings, is the perfect person to do it.
